Wonderful little guidebook for “God’s Little Princesses.”

In How To Be God’s Little Princess, Sheila Walsh compiles practical suggestions and discussions on princess-worthy topics such as wardrobe, jewelry and accessories, hair, poise, manners, friendship, dining, parties, time management, attitude, and (my personal favorite) inner beauty. Each topic is initially presented with a related Bible verse and presented in such a way that would make the “Proverbs 31 Woman” proud. Walsh provides practical and biblical advice packaged in cute “girly” format that will appeal to young girls of any age. Walsh’s practicality extends to include instructions to make necklaces, bracelets, tie-died t-shirts, party invitations, party favors, checklists and recipes. The time management tips are a great resource applicable for godly women of any age.  I know I found a few tips here to implement myself.

Personally, I (and my daughter) adore Sheila Walsh and especially her “Gigi: God’s Little Princess” books and DVD’s. It can become difficult to continue a series while keeping the initial attraction of the original theme (or book). In the line of “God’s Little Princess”, this one does not disappoint.  How To Be God’s Little Princess compliments the “God’s Little Princess” series exceptionally well. Little girls who have become endeared to the Gigi series (my daughter included), will be thrilled with this guidebook and the practical hands-on “how-to’s” of living daily life as Royalty, God’s way.

I would be quick to recommend this book as a great gift-book, a mother-daughter resource, or simply a fun read.
